Pray For and eat at Jesse’s Pizza ~ On Old 21 just south of M Highway. In an attempt to support our area we asked how we could be a blessing to them. They have offered to give back 10% of receipts when we eat there after. Just take your bulletin in on Sunday or at any other time. It’s a way to enjoy a good meal and help our church at the same time.
More
than 100 years ago, Alexis de Toqueville, a famous French political
philosopher, visited the United
States in an attempt to uncover the secret
of our greatness as a nation. He traveled from town to town, talking with
people, asking questions, examining every facet of our society. When he
returned to France, he wrote
these amazing words, "I sought for America’s greatness. I found it not
in her fields and forests. I found it not in her mines and factories. I found
it not in her Congress and great tribunals. It was only when I entered her
churches and heard her pulpits thundering against sin and preaching
righteousness that I discovered the secret of her greatness. America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be good, America
will cease to be great."
