Church Move Update~

Next Sunday’s Service ~ Join us next Sunday for our final service in Antonia. Pastor Tim will share a special message that celebrates our time here and that looks forward to our move. He will also share the final message in his series on the book of Nehemiah which is entitled, “All’s Well that Ends Well.” To better prepare for this message please read Nehemiah 12:27-13:31 before you come next week. Our final service in Antonia will also conclude with a special celebration of the Lord’s Supper.

We’re Moving to the Bernard Middle School July 18—It’s not hard to get there, here are the directions you need to find our new location. Take I-55 North turn right on I-255. Just after that stay to the right and take the Lemay Ferry Road exit. Stay in the left lane and turn left on Lemay Ferry Road. The first street you come to is Forder where you turn left again. It’s the only school is the only school on that street and is at 1054 Forder Road, on the right side of the street.

New Women's Bible Study ~  Being led by Cassie Butler is held each week at 7 PM at Cassie's home in Arnold.

Ed Moncada is our Guest Speaker—Ed is originally from the Philippines and now works with the Missouri Baptist Convention in their ministry to college students. He is part of the South County Baptist Church, which has helped support The Refuge since our beginning. Please make him feel welcome today!

Youth Group ~ We will not meet this Wednesday night, July 7 as David and Danielle will be on vacation. Youth group meets the following Wednesday, July 14 at David and Danielle’s apartment

Ready to Move— As we get ready for our move we need extra help. If you would like to volunteer to help out please talk to Pastor Tim or an elder.

Pray For and eat at Jesse’s Pizza ~  On Old 21 just south of M Highway. In an attempt to support our area we asked how we could be a blessing to them. They have offered to give back 10% of receipts when we eat there after. Just take your bulletin in on Sunday or at any other time. It’s a way to enjoy a good meal and help our church at the same time.

More than 100 years ago, Alexis de Toqueville, a famous French political philosopher, visited the United States in an attempt to uncover the secret of our greatness as a nation. He traveled from town to town, talking with people, asking questions, examining every facet of our society. When he returned to France, he wrote these amazing words, "I sought for America’s greatness. I found it not in her fields and forests. I found it not in her mines and factories. I found it not in her Congress and great tribunals. It was only when I entered her churches and heard her pulpits thundering against sin and preaching righteousness that I discovered the secret of her greatness. America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."
